My first day in school
When I first entered Kent ridge secondary school in 2005, I was very nervous. I woke up early in the morning and prepared myself to get ready for school. I had my parents accompanied to meet up with my aunt (xiuhui) and her parents. We waited patiently for the bus to come while checking if our uniform was neatly tucked in. when the bus came. Our parents watched us board the bus. The bus was filled with studies and it was very noisy. I guess they wear as excited as I was. When I reached the school, we were asked by the councilors to sit in the hall. Audris was the first person I talked to because she used to be studying in the same kindergardan with me.
After the principal, ms chamb, finished talking, we went back to class. I sat beside audris at the first two seats on the right. Beside me on the other row was Vani and Cheryl Yeung. The school is quite big, bigger than my primary school. My form teacher was Mdm Jean Tan. I did not remember if I had made any friends on the first day but I had fun. My class was 1E4 which is located on the first floor. I like my class. After that, we toured around the school with seniors bringing us. We did not have lessons on the first day as we were in hall most of the time. We played games and get to know classmates name. We also learnt mass dance and I enjoyed it.
It was quite nice. After a few hours of interaction, we finished school at 1:15pm and I took 282 home with Xiuhui. It was an enjoyable day for me.
